We zagen onze eigen Sabar Cabernet Franc opgroeien en volwassen worden.
Het was al veelbelovend op zijn "pasgeboren" leeftijd, en inmiddels is deze belofte werkelijkheid geworden, in een stevig en complex lichaam.
"Eyecatching" ouverture, zoete vatkruiden vermengd met pepertonen en de zachte fruitigheid van zwarte bessen.
Pruim gekruid met kaneel met een vleugje chocolade als beloning in de afdronk.

Grape varieties: 100% Cabernet Franc
Terroir, vineyard: The grape came from the west slopes of Sabar hill, planted in 2014. The soil contains more loess, clay and sand, it is less stony (unlike the typical vineyards in Badacsony wine region).
Technology: Harvested by hand on 2 October. After destemming the must fermented in 10 hL plastic vats with selected yeast. Soaking and maceration for a 4 weeks, then pressing. About one fourth of the wine aged in stainless steel, while three fourth of it matured in barrique (Hungarian, Austrian and French, various age) for 9 months. Bottling took place on 3 August.
